Writing and Life…or ‘What’s My Mission Statement’…

I first started this blog when I went to Tokyo with my then 15- year old daughter to help her with cooking and laundry and general navigation while she was there on a 60 day modeling contract (July 1- august 29). We stayed in the Shibuya area in a 'model' apartment with 4-5 other girls..none of whom spoke English as a first language, though I have to say I don't speak much Portuguese, Czech or Russian either ;-) I spent my time writing, taking photos, sightseeing and visiting old friends in between doing laundry, cooking and grocery shopping. Then I came home and years passed. The latter teenage years. The modeling and traveling years. We're now into the university years. The blog isn't so much about the child anymore as she does have her own life and perhaps would like some of it to be private. Stay tuned for fascinating content about my life...the house, the garden, appliance, settling my mum's estate, adult ADHD, menopause, staying active and healthy....
